Private compensation vs statutory income

Privatepreneur teaches private compensation and statutory income as different relationship categories.

The distinction is not:

money versus property

Compensation is property received in exchange.

The distinction is about the relationship through which the compensation arises.

Start with capacity and agreement

Ask:

Who acted?

In what capacity?

Under what agreement?

Was a public or statutory title part of the relationship?

Was a public entity, platform, benefit, registration, employment arrangement, or other statutory framework involved?

What did the parties do in practice?

Those facts matter more than the label placed on the payment.

Calling it compensation is not enough

The word “compensation” does not establish an outside characterization.

Likewise, calling an amount private does not make the relationship private.

The agreement, conduct, capacity, payment path, forms, platform terms, and records all have to be considered together.

The account does not decide the question

A payment arriving in a personal account does not automatically make the exchange private.

A payment arriving through an entity account does not automatically explain every underlying relationship.

The account is a container with its own evidence and terms.

The relationship still has to be understood.

Why records matter

If the agreement says one thing but the invoice, processor account, website language, platform record, and delivery records consistently say something else, the contradiction deserves attention.

Records support the relationship you say exists.

They do not replace the facts.

This is not a shortcut to a statutory conclusion

Privatepreneur does not promise how an agency, court, bank, processor, or other institution will characterize an amount.

The framework is used to understand the relationship and build coherent evidence around what happened.
