Can private wording change an existing relationship?
No.
Private wording does not change the factual character of an existing relationship by itself.
A document can describe facts. It cannot manufacture them.
Facts come before labels
Privatepreneur uses a simple integrity rule:
Facts before labels.
Look at who is doing the work, who is receiving it, what capacity each side uses, what agreement already applies, how compensation moves, what public framework is involved, what conduct occurs, and what records exist.
Existing agreements cannot be ignored
Existing platform terms, entity agreements, processor terms, licenses, and other active agreements remain part of the picture until properly changed or ended.
Prospective change is different
An entrepreneur can design future relationships differently.
That may involve ending an old relationship, changing a payment path, using a different capacity, entering a new agreement, or choosing not to use a public tool in the future.
Why backdating is a problem
Backdating tries to make a later document tell an earlier story.
The cleaner approach is to identify when the new relationship begins and document it from that point forward.
